Platforms: iOS released on the App Store. Android is in closed beta. To join, first join the Jorial beta tester group with your Google account, then open the Android testing opt-in page, choose Become a tester, and open the Google Play listing with the same account.
Pricing: Free tier: unlimited entries, 2 photos each. Pro: $1.99 per month or $12.99 per year; up to 30 media items, video, full map history, and Trips with map routes. Media stays viewable after cancelling.
Privacy: No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs, no public feed.
Tech: Built solo with Kotlin Multiplatform and native maps on each platform.

The story

Jorial started as a gift. My wife wanted one place to keep the places we've been — our photos lived in one app, notes in three others, and there was no way to look back at a trip as one thing. So I built her a travel diary: you write an entry with photos or video, and it lands on a map by date. Over time the map fills in and becomes a record of your life in motion. It quietly saves the temperature from each day, stamps countries as you go, and lets two people share one journal — which was the whole point. There's no feed, no ads, no trackers. It's a diary, not a social network. iOS is out now; Android is in closed beta.
