Jorial Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Jorial is a private travel journal for saving memories, photos, places, and stories. This Privacy Policy explains what information Jorial collects, how it is used, and how you can request deletion of your account or personal data.

Information Jorial collects

Jorial may collect and store account information, profile details, journal entries, photos, saved places and location information, tags, dates, and other content you add to your travel journal. Jorial may also process messages you send for support, privacy, account deletion, or data deletion requests.

Your journal content is stored so Jorial can show your private feed, archive, map, photos, tags, and saved memories back to you. Jorial does not look at, review, sell, or use your journal content for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

Diagnostics and app reliability

Jorial may collect crash reports and diagnostic information to understand errors, improve reliability, protect the service, and keep the app working as expected.

How Jorial uses information

Jorial uses your information to provide the journal, archive, photo, place, account, security, support, and deletion request features of the app. Jorial does not sell your personal data and does not use third-party advertising tracking.

Service providers

Jorial uses Firebase and Google services for hosting, authentication, database and storage, security, diagnostics, and related app infrastructure. These providers process information only as needed to help operate and protect Jorial.

Data retention and deletion

Jorial keeps personal data for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect users and the service. You can delete your data or delete your account directly in the Jorial app. Deletions made in the app take effect immediately. You can also request deletion of your account and associated data, or request deletion of specific personal data without deleting your whole account.

Children and families

Jorial is a general-audience app and is not specifically directed to children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data to Jorial, you can contact Jorial to request review or deletion of that data.
